Hyperhidrosis - Excessive Underarm Sweating

The medical term for excess sweating is hyperhidrosis and whilst sweating is one of the most important ways in which to regulate the body temperature, those with hyperhidrosis produce sweat far greater in order to regulate their body temperature.

Botox (Botulinum Toxin) when injected under the arms temporarily inhibit the chemical signals from the nerves that stimulate the sweat glands. The treatment can drastically improve the patients quality of life, making it a highly effective treatment.

A full consultation is required with one of our experienced Nurse Prescribers and a cooling off period of 14 days offered.

Treatment Summary
